A graduate of The Fashion Design Studio Sydney, 26-year old Christopher Esber launched his eponymous label in 2010. In 4 short years, the designer has positioned himself at the helm of the new guard of Australian fashion with a focus on innovation and a forward-thinking approach to design. Having developed skills in pattern and cut at the age of 8, Esber’s creations define modern classics through the marriage of quality and cut, refined tailoring and technical fabric choices. Clean lines and easy to wear shapes transcend seasons and carry from day to night. Esber’s skill in technological fabric development saw the designer win the 2013 Australian Wool Innovation Woolmark Prize, and represent Australia at the International Woolmark Prize in Milan, February 2014. Most recently, the designer won Best Up & Coming at the Prix de Marie Claire Awards 2013 as well as the BT Financial Emerging Fashion Designer Award 2013 and L’Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival National Designer Award 2012. Worn by the likes of Candice Lake, Christine Centenera, Lara Bingle and Hollywood actress Phoebe Tonkin, Christopher Esber has fast become the ‘need to know’ Australian luxury brand.
