PAUL NATHAPHOL S/S14-15 collection is inspired by the 1950’s philosophy movement & existentialism, where one’s freedom to express the individual experience is explored. It emphasizes the uniqueness and the isolation of these experiences and how they have played an important role in one’s existence. Work of Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Sartre and artist, Franz Kline, are explored and investigated. Timeless style icons of the era, Audrey Hepburn, Jacqueline Kennedy have also been a source of inspiration for the silhouette for this collection. The collection will feature timeless pieces, and also illustrate how these inspirations can be interpreted into a modern menswear and women’s wear collection.
